Its on the northeast coast and the bay upon which it is located is surrounded by snow capped mountains.
Lots of mammals, especially seals sunning on the rocks.
Later in the day, we embarked on the Dolphin Encounter tour where we did see about a hundred Hector, and Dusky Dolpins.
The day ended with some "crayfish" on the beach at a local al fresco diner - but exhorbitantly priced to say the least, folks lobster at home is much more economical.
We made our way to Blenheim for the night. Tomorrow a winery tour by bicy
