Sea Kayaking in Able Tasman

We set out for Nelson, and then on to Kaiteriteri to explore the shores of the Able Tasman Park by kayak.

The beauty of the trip, the pristine waters of the coast, and the low level of traffic made this a serenely and wonderful experience. Wilson tours took us out by water taxi to the kayaks and we spent a bout six hours on the water and beaches.

Cheryl's experience on Georgian Bay paid off, she got the single on the way back, and took this great shot of us all raft/sailing. Meanwhile I coddled one of two NewYorkers who had the idea of "maybe seakayaking". So cheryl and I split up and took them one each in the tandem.

Our next destination is Franz Joseph Glacier on the West Coast.
